it took ages, but today i accidentally stumbled upon this bug, have been able to reproduce it and... fixed it :)

care to share what it was, thats of course if it isn't too complicated and will confuse me. :P

the UTF8 decoding function returns empty when the decoding fails.

so, now, when it fails, i keep the raw text.
