I met a problem, about the server being unable to know the charset used to pass FORM data.
I investigated, and found an interesting article by IBM (very techiey, don't dare to read!) stating that actually there's a flaw in the protocol.

in the (not so near) future, UTF-8 will be mandatory for templates.
let's say for HFS 2.4
so invite all of you who care about future compatibility to comply with this.

:D way ahead of you. But not for those reasons, I had issues with special characters etc. Any site I make these days is UTF-8.

EDIT:

I dared to read :o is it bad that I sort of understood what they were saying.

Why is it a big deal to get it working for 2.3?
