I see in the options that theere is an option to use systems icons.

Does this mean that the user will see the correct system icon associated with the file?

If this is the case, mine is only showing what looks like a hand.

Please let me know if this is correct of not.

Thanks

maybe you are trying to add the whole unit ? (hard disk)

if you are, then just don't do it, add files in it until this bug is fixed

Do you mean that if I share my entire drive, the system icons don't work?

So to get it to work, i should just share individule files instead of my entire drive?

I would  suggest the following trick -
make an "virtual\temp" empty directory and drag it to the HFS. Rename it on HFS to "Drive X:".  Then  select all the real drive's dirctories... and drag them under it ... Wink

Any idea if or when this bug will be fixed

I would like the system icons to work when sharing the entire drive if it is possible.

No rush on this as Upload is more important.

Thanks in advance

Yes, it works in rc16..  Smiley  just that it comes up with empty  "directory/path" name which is correct but not very nice ...  Wink  I suggest to doublecheck the name in this case and if it IS the "top" of he drive tree - use the drive name (e.e. "C:\") and the user can change it later. what do you think ?

I just downloaded RC16 and I still only get teh hand icon to show for the drive.

I am also experiencing another issue:
After I login, the drive folder will not show in the list of folders.  if I type in the name in the address bar, the content tehn comes up.  I have dfouble checked and these are not hidden folders

Any ideas?

I removed and readded the the drives and now the system icons are working.

I will test to see if this resolves my other issue aswell.

Thanks

i have removed and readded the drives to HFS and it rewsolved the first issue but the second issue remains.

I still have some of the drive not listing in teh list but I am able to access them from teh address bar.

The other issue I have is that I have a few network drive listed in HFS and with an older version of 1.6 I was able to acces these network drives, now I  am not.  I listed the entire network drive and used to be able to click on it and it would bring up the contents.  Now when I click on teh link, it brings up the drive letter again and then nothing happens when clicking on that letter.

example:

Any ideas on this issue?  :?
