I've got some users trying to upload to a non upload section due
to the upload button showing on a non upload section folder. Seems
this only happens if its a non virtual folder.. Virtual folders don't display
the upload button but regular folders do even if they are not set up
for uploads.. If I set up at least one security access to the regular
folder (ME) the upload button doesn't display to lower level users..
However, If I don't set at least one upload level access to the regular
folder then everyone gets the upload button on that regular folder
and includes any subfolder.. To kill the upload button on sub folders
I have to set upper level access for one level user (ME).. I'm still
trying to figure what's exactly going on here but I think I have nailed
it or pretty close.. Still under the microscope to see how many legs
are on this little bugger.. Hold still you little...

It is probably a bug, rejetto.
On a server, with a few real folders, with some users defined, try to just browse the real folders (with no upload permissions defined). The UPLOAD button will be visible.

Yep.. Thats what it is.. I set up another running HFS on a server
for a friend or two with 3 real folders and the upload button is shown
on the real folders even when they are not access leveled for uploads.
No big deal.. I just set up as virtual folder and the upload button
goes away...  Thanks.. Took me a while to figure
out what was going on.. Just wanted Rejetto to know about the little
real folder bug, but most people are not going to set HFS up under that
condition.. Leave it to me to do something wacky with it..
