I have been playing around with it, and I have found that the forum that is attached to it leaves alot to be desired. As far as the rest of it, its pretty nice. I have 2 servers i run, so I plugged it all into IIS for the redirect and it does work. I also tested the SSL and it works also. The forum part is a bit crappy, but then again, I guess its not meant to be a full-on forum software. It gives no option to edit your own posts (as far as I can tell). customizing it is fairly simple with their templates (you can edit the css and html to customize further Wink ) I do see features that are very nice, but I still use hfs. I do see how some things could be used in hfs, so hopefully rejetto will get the time to make his great software even better. Smiley We all know he is fully capable of doing it, but I guess he has a life like the rest us lol. Keep up the good work rejetto. Smiley

And yes....I am sure we all know serials dot ws.....the site that tries to load a trojan into your computer upon entry. I use McAfee enterprise and it detects a trojan anytime I access those sites....that one also. every refresh on that site will try to load this trojan. I dont know what it is, i just know its there. Take it for what its worth Smiley

I see many features that is on the HFS wish list.  As Micro mentioned the forum part of the software is on the weak side, but I don't think it is meant to be a full blown forum software but it does get the job done if you just want to converse and do some downloading/uploading from within the forums.  There is a option to disable the forum if you want.  I especially liked the SSL server option which I could make use of.  IMHO it doesn't have a very good admin control panel which I think is very important. (not to many options and therefore you would only have limited control which isn't very good ).   It also isn't as configurable as HFS which is something I definitely want.   Overall, I think they did a pretty good job on this piece of software BUT it isn't worth the price they are expecting people to pay for it!  (p.s. - No trojans here.  PM...  Wink )

I think if rejetto continues to develop and update HFS and include the things he says he wants to do in his to-do list, HFS would be a superior software.

HFS the VFS is so simple define the attrib,

but EFWS just can set the foldertree which person can access.

so.... I still like to use HFS!!

waiting a new version HFS coming!!!

Just tested it quickly...
SSL-support is the only part that beats HFS.
I really miss the user specific possibilities for modifications.
For me HFS appears more trustful, just my feeling.
The SSL-part is no reason for me to switch, even if EFS was for free!
@traxxus: Nice try ... I stay with the original... for free.
