Question- please I need answer quick!!

Why when I try to open the site with the file that I extracted in the software HFS I see a error [in other words- doesn't work....]
But there is more wird thing: when the software is open and the file in it + the site, i can open the site and doewnload the file!
It's very wird becasue I need that the site with the file work without open the software! because It's the normal!! [supposed to be....]
