cant view own page

My page is up and running people can visit and download but if i try to view my page internet explorer says it cant be displayed, same with firefox. But it does work if i use my internal isp address. Is there something i need to do to veiw my own external address?

it is normal, just use the internal address
answered many times on this forum

or if you want to, you could always use a proxy to view it, just to make sure the links are really working. That's what I do

or you can add your ip to your name on the host file
like i do, it works fine...

Yep the 'hosts' trick.

For Windows 9x: C:\WINDOWS\hosts (may not exist, copy from hosts.sam)

For Windows 2k/XP: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\drivers\etc\hosts

insert an entry like this:

<your LAN IP> <your domainname without http://>
