Set "Find External Addresses" as default?

I searched for this and only two posts came up without either being the answer.

Every time I launch HFS it finds my internal IP address (192.168......) and that's of no use to anyone outside of course so I continually have to go into the app and select, "Find External Addresses". Is there a way to make that the default setting?
