it is not trivial to do

actually a plugin is impossible to make yet, cause the plugin API does not let plugins to modify messages

i'm thinking about 2 solutions
1) implement a feature compatible with trillian, but at the moment i don't have info about it
2) discuss a standard with other icq clones programmers about extra features

the point number 2 is to avoid of making features closed to &RQ
other software should be able to implement the same encryption
but programmers often don't like to do the things the way another programmer do
the best would be to create a common system

other clones crypto is buggy.
so why not you to write your own crypto API.
besides MS Criptoprovider is so different on
different OS versions.

I think waiting other programmers to make standart is
wasting our and your time  :?

It is really time is come on for this plugin.
We've been waiting for a long time.
It is not mandatory to be 128bit.
I'm agree for any encryption.

hello im arksole,
i was on the way to develop a encryption plugin to rq but i heard it cannot modify message's. thats bad. first;
if the author of rq can make a sdk, and the whole rq program first leads the message's trough the dll's before opening it then it should be very easy to make a encryption dll. i developed a high-encryption addon for mIRC called "Secure Chat v3" released on Scriptaz.com. if you have interrest you can contact me and i tell you more. i also developed the v4. its all for mirc so you can take a look and it should be very easy to port them into RQ. the only thing i need is a sdk and the routines how them work. so if the author may contact me so i can give great support in the encryption area. thanks

Yes. Is there any changes to implement IM encryptor ? Or any other encryption common used in all ICQ clients.

It's really needed !

Could be any PGP type.

It's good idea to make default encryption feature, or maybe, make encryption plugin.
