Hi,

HFS works fine for me to access my files from other places as long as my modem is plugged directly into my computer. When I plug in my Linksys WRT54G Wireless router, it changes my external IP and i cannot reach the file server from other places.

Is there a way around this?

I've heard of static IP's (not sure what they are or how to use them) Is that the answer

THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP!!
