rejetto I wrote a request in the previous topic about "up" (back) link for the page where search results are. Always I have "up" link in the menu when I get a folder, but in the page with results, I haven't. Look at the image:

Can you add it in the next build please Undecided

every browser has a BACK button.
you have a big green button on the upper left.
isn't that enough?

Your logic is flawed.

The search takes place at the root of the server, there is NOTHING to go UP to. What you want is BACK which is why the big green BACK button is there.

+ Menu -> Virtual File System -> "Links before"

This is possibly a stupid question, but what does 'Links before' do? It's not a very descriptive name at all :S

it isn't, yes, but it's exactly as the nearby "Folders before", but for links instead of folders

links are put before files

I think there is a bug with search/filter in Internet Explorer, if i run a search for the word 'free' it should return some results, i am shown the nofiles/noresults page. I think it might have something to do with user permissions or recursive... but im unsure, the results are random at best.

{{section|<<name here>>}} doesn't work in custom embedded pages. e.g [page.htm|nolog]

It also doesn't work in the error pages section. [error-page]

Help!!

In folder menu, just remove the option "Archivable" for that folder and you can keep the recursive option enabled in the main menu.

And about Alons0's Back-button debate...I'd also like there to be a "Return" or "Back" link there where normally is the "UP" link. I don't like to use the browser buttons.

Re:Back Link
I use the "bread crumb trail" feature posted in this forum
by T.S.G. and Giant Eagle in my template. It lists the directory
you are in and and allows you to click back to the folder you
searched from, or up to the top level, etc.
(Many thanks to both for that)
Another option that works is the JS "drop down" menu. It will
go up one level (back), do file list recursive, file list for the
folder you are in, jump directly to a folder, and other things.
Both methods make a back button unnecessary.

Many thanks Rejetto, for the search feature!
