Hi all,

I want to install SMF in my company (local only), but i got a trouble! Please help me:

 1/ Download SMF and xampp [latest version]

 2/ I create a database named forum in xampp [using phpadmin]

 3/ Copy SMF into htdocs folder

 4/ When i configure the pre install of SMF, it show error!

I include the pic along!

it seems the DB login data you specified in the installation is incorrect.
be careful, because each DB account is bound to an IP from where you connect.

you can continue here, but my advice is to ask on the smf forum as well
