ddos attack

Hi rejetto!

Please answer to me, what HFS has for protected of DDos atack?
My server was atacked more and more requested links and HFS will be
shutdown pc explorer and hfs alarm error

Did HFS have any possisle to protected this?

And more... What is funtion: Stop spiders in limit menu?

Firewalls have simple rules such as to allow or deny protocols, ports or IP addresses. Some DoS attacks are too complex for today's firewalls, e.g. if there is an attack on port 80 (web service), firewalls cannot prevent that attack because they cannot distinguish good traffic from DoS attack traffic. Additionally, firewalls are too deep in the network hierarchy. Routers may be affected even before the firewall gets the traffic. Nonetheless, firewalls can effectively prevent users from launching simple flooding type attacks from machines behind the firewall.

Some external readings on the subject shall make you understand that the solution of this genre of problem is not due in hfs and is to be looked for of the highly-rated of a firewall check

I didn't understand what did happen to your computer because of this attack.
Anyway, if the ddos is heavy enough, even biggest companies can be stopped.
I know nothing about what HFS could do against it. Let me know if you have something to suggest.
As mars said, you should search the internet for the problem, because it is not strictly related to HFS, and general solutions may apply.

So who`s door do i knock on, to see a spider counter in a template on day  ("java door or delphi door") ..everybodys?
If that is so, its a request  that could be put on the to do list
