your rule UDP 666 not necessary.

is the url http://127.0.0.1:666/  working ?

if YES, look (expert mode)  at  'MENU > accept connections on > any address'  if checked ?

if this url (= localhost) does not work (or what do you men by 'dont'work'?), then maybe your template is corrupted. Try with the standard template!

bacter is right, it's like your template is broken, and it has nothing to do with your router!

copy on the forum your template
Menu > edit html template

and copy also
right click on the home > advanced > diff template

ok, i've tried the template and had not your problem.

something is blocking your HFS. i doubt the problem is in your HFS configuration, it must be some other security software.

To see if hfs.exe is dammaged in some way, close it and install in another directory a actual beta, use the same port and the standardtemplate and look if this works. If it works, add one account and a minimal filesystem to check further.

So you can see if there exists a problem with your old hfs or with your operating system and security features.

and  MENU >DEBUG > Temporaly Reset Options

to disable this reset, click on the button 'restore my options', or close and run hfs.exe

Maybe it's crazy, but... some antivirus/firewall softwares can block all your traffic on different than standard ports for browsing if they are switched in panic mode... Be sure all your antivirus/firewall are configured correctly...

Same problem occured here last week and even did a format c, firmware of router and hard reset on that, nothing worked.
Today I had a friend in amsterdam on the phone and she has the same problem started last week as well.

"I wonderd if our isp has some to do with this"

When no router attatched it is working tho, but only on port 80 so I redid router config and used port 80

hfs working fine again but only on port 80 .... kinda strange  .... I guess our isp blocks off ports to use as an answer but I could be mistaken.
Does anyone here has any idea how come hfs all the sudden only works on port 80 ?

I hope this is usefull info for the once that encounter problems.
Sindce HFS rocks! and is a free program, I took an efford to try and help solve this problem and share the knowledge.

good luck to the once experience this problem, I realy hope you be able to solve your problem.
Kind regards from here
