I know it's not available right now but can't you PLEASE add proxy functionality into hfs?
Socks or SSH i'd really appreciate it...

For a time i was using a socks5 proxy yes, not anymore though, i still think it could be a useful function.
But take your time if you think there's more to be done somewhere else in the program.
