cant choose "member of" in Userdialog

hi folks,
since a view days i cant choose "member of" in the user dialog!
the button Chose is grey and not activated!?

normally i can select the groups to which a user is joined...

any hints what i did wrong?

maybe due to some sort of bug/problem
all the account flags for group were removed so theres actual no group available to choose from
just click on an acount which is supposed to be an group and look if the group checkbox is checked
its the only idea i have

This was the problem!

Very strange is that i did not remove those group checkboxes ...

i also found an group "can change password" i did not put in there!
maybe that has something to do with my problem?

i deleted this group "can change password" and checked my group boxes and now everything works again!
