Since HFS doesn't support cgi as yet...
Is there a way to interface the shoutbox with mIRC?

So that input into shoutbox is sent to mIRC, and output from mIRC is sent to shoutbox?

Possibly a mIRC script or dll or somesuch?

mIRC->shoutbox should just need to log to /shoutbox/display_posts I would assume.

with a mIRC it should be simple
just write a little mIRC script that runs like every 3 seconds checks if a new file exists and loads the data from the latest txt file in /shoutbox/display_posts
and sends it to a channel

I used mirc, and the real-time interfacing between both limp with dialogues can be made completely only by having php at arrangement(measure) in hfs, the exchange must be bidirectional and not limit itself to a simple reading of file by script irc
