try to drag&drop this folder on the virtual file system, and see if the problem is only on the web side

When I drag&drop folders on the virtual file system or create folders on the server locally, there are no garbled characters in the name of folders displayed on HFS Webpage.

But,when I create folders named in Chinese characters by clicking the "NEW" button on the HFS webpage, the name of the folder I created is of garbled characters.

What's the matter?

Hi !

Try the latest beta (264), look if that problem persists... now it should work.

By the way, the "Automatically Check for Version Updates"  function OF HFS has been performing everyday since My HFS Website was established, but why has it  found none version updates?

Menu > Updates > Updates from official to beta versions must also be checked.

Beta 264 does not fix the problem~

It seems that HFS somewhere does not show Chinese characters correctly~

Maybe the problem is ralated to the default template, because when I manually modified the hfs.tpl with some Chinese characters, and these Chinese characters are to replace some words like that showed in the image, the HFS webpage showed garbled characters where I modified.

If all the names of your folders are incorrect, not just those that you created from the webpage, if the folders names are incorect in the VFS as well, it is probably this problem is happening to you:

http://www.rejetto.com/forum/index.php/topic,8838.msg1051059.html#msg1051059

Unfortunately there is no solution.

But what you reported in your first messages should normally be fixed with version 264 Undecided

Are you sure you tested the 264 release with the default template included?

1. for folders already created, you must fix the name yourself, in the windows explorer.
2. future folders should be ok.
