creating a login/register page

i've been usin hfs for a year now..but i cant figure out how to create a page so that when somebody goes into ma server... the first thing they have to do is log in or register if they dont hav an account..

what i want is:
1) when a user goes into ma site, they will need to log in...and if they dun hav a password...they can create an account in ma site.
2) only then they will be allowed to view da files i uploded for users to download

this cannot be done with version 2.2
you'll need version 2.3, and a good script, because this is not the default hfs' behaviour.

But a register possibility would be a good addition to HFS
