G'Day everyone afew days ago i started playing around with hfs on an old computer and im currently having an odd issue with it.
what is happening (over my local network) i can upload files at 1.5-3 mega byte per second but for some reason i can only
download at 160 kilo bytes per second Max. im just wondering if anyone might no how to fix this problem.

extra info...

are you using the same computer for uploading and downloading when you test speed?

probably 160 is the server upload bandwidth.
go to the server, and do www.speedtest.net
it will give you some links to paste here for us to see

im connecting to the server thats in my network with another computer thats in the same network.
so its going 

server----router----pc

so shouldn't u/d only be limited by the cables and ports.

so basically what i wanna no is why can i upload from this pc to the server pc at 3 mega bytes a sec and i can only download at 160 kilo bytes a sec

may as well show you how crap australias internet it unless you spend alot of $$$ lol
