File Link redirects. code 301

Is it possible to make the links that you can place in the file list be accessible like files.
For example http://Http://your_site.com/Newlink   people would be able to enter that url into their address bar and hfs will use a http code 301 ( moved permanently ) to redirect their browser to the actual link of that address.

I'm talking about achieving the same redirect that is possible with .htaccess.
Can i do that in HFS now? Because when i tried i couldn't. If possible can you add this in the future?

right click on the vfs and select "New Link"

I know how to make those. I want them to be accessible by url.

you can with version 2.3
but i suggest you to wait for build #270 because it will support this much easier way, with current build it would be trickier.
that's how you will do it with #270

you make an empty virtual folder with this content for the diff template
