I am trying to post a media player that will allow the user to view/play the audio or video files. Also I want to do a search tool for the HFS Site. I also want to do my own background. can any =one help me with these HTML and let me know where in the HTML to put it? here is the image I am going to use for the background

you should decide a template to start, one with search and player. Try rawr template, it has the player, and i think also the search.

Great! Having the background image you already have the most important part. The search option already exists in HFS, how to use it and how to put a player in your template, use the search option in this forum, there are already many threeds about this question.

¿Are you using HFS Version 2.3 with an actual build or are you using stable version 2.2 ?

The search option and advanced templates require actual builds of version 2.3 (beta). They run stable. Update.

okay I got the template working and it got everything I wanted but the graphic in the back ground which is not that much. But I need to find out what I address I would have to give people outside my network can someone tell me how do I get this info?

click "self test". if it's OK, then you can give the address you see in the address bar.

I got it to work it's open and everyone loves it... thanks the only thing I still have to figure out is I want to add a background image and also only allow users accounts to access my folders....

how to set the background depends on the template, what are you using?
to restrict access to folders, right click, properties, permissions
