I'm administrating a school server and i would like to use the schools web page to login.

I have a login form in html where you can type the username and the password.

Now have to make it so that then you click the login button, it just generate a link to login like "Username:Password@ServerURL/~login" i saw it in this topic http://www.rejetto.com/forum/index.php/topic,9571.0.html and then it should open the generated link.

Now the question is:
How to do this if the student don't use opera. Is it possible to make it support all browsers?

Sorry for my english!

for that kind of URL, that's standard, it is totally related to the browser, HFS can do nothing about it.
but in the future it will be possible to provide HFS a login through another form of link.
i'm working on it.
