i wanna use HFS file server to act as an intranet....

for more convenience, is there any way to change the address into http://intranet.cy.org.hk instead of my IP address?

i do try menu > ip address > custom, but it doesnt work...

pls suggest.

Just make sure that the DNS for that domain points to your IP and that your HFS uses port 80 and then it should work.

It's different from host to host but you need to go to whoever you registered your site with and ask them to change the DNS.  They would be able to help you much more on that subject.

many people uses registered domains with HFS.
the configuration you made on HFS is just a commodity, not truly necessary.
All the configuration needed is on the domain name server, so refer to those who are giving you the service.
