I tried to "Access for users" which are password protected, when they simply logon, they can input no password and logon. Even the copied password URL contains no password.

For example:
A user set at options with username: 12345 password: 54321
1. Right click Home, Access for user: 12345
2. A lock icon appears at the home dir
3. Right click Home, Get passworded URL, 12345:
http://12345:@127.0.0.1/
4. Logon with link: Works fine. (Without password)
Logon with password: Does not work.

Is this a bug to be fixed? Smiley
Thanks!

Umm... Let me add to that.
If a user is deleted and access for that user is enabled, right clicking the activated folder will cause HFS to display an error:
Access violation at address 004C5A8B in module 'hfs.exe'. Read of address 00000008.
Hope you fix that too!
Thanks once again!

Let me add another thing to it:
Clicking on Enabled with no user selected also causes an error.

Here's what a did with my experiment:
1. Password to Home dir with a username and password, not using Options -> Users
2. Set the username and password blank back again.
3. Lock icon disappears from Home dir.
4. Go to Options -> Users -> Add: Username: 12345 Password: 54321 (Enabled checked)
5. Right click Home dir, Access for users: 12345
6. Lock icon appears on Home dir.
7. Right click Home dir, Get passworded URL: (It is w/o password, and the URL works fine.) (If you try to login with a password, it won't work.)

Thanks rejetto! That was a quick reply! Smiley

because you switched from the password to the VFS
the password was not saved yet
you had to close the options window

in RC13 the password will be saved also if you just leave the options window, so this problem won't occour
