Title: Uploading file to HFS from client

Hi,

I am a newbie to dis so please bear me..I am currently using ftp server as my file server.I am across HFS and i have a few doubts with this.I came to we can restrict user based on username and password.I want to know whether when a user tries to access the file which he not intended to access, an exception will be thrown or an error.One other thing is in Ftp i can upload a file from my client machine to the server how dis can be achived with HFS.Please help me.

an "exception" ? he gets an error message.

to upload you must first give permission. you can give permission to anyone, or to some accounts.
then they upload by clicking "Upload" in their browser.
