Title: Ports
Post by: loukram on January 09, 2006, 11:11:54 AM
Hello,

I use beside HFS also Simple Server from AnalogX. The latter also uses port 80 for my PC acting as server. Do I understand HFS right that it in principle uses port 80 and when this is not possible other ports.

My question is:
Is it possible to implement an option to select an other port as default for HFS to circumvent a conflict with systems which uses also  port 80.

Thanks

In the hfs.ini file you can enter the default port number. This should work.

HFS 2.0 beta34 - Build #019
active=no
window=149,37,926,567
window-max=no
easy=no
port=80          <----- or any free port of your choice
log-read-only=yes

to change the port you don't need to edit the ini
just ensure the server is stopped and type your number in the port box ;)
