Do you have a firewall on your router?
if you dont have a firewall on your router or its turned off/configured for port 80 try using a different port to test if that works. If it does work on another port it is possible that your isp blocks incoming connections on port 80.

i also use linksys with ddwrt

here's a link, that should help you out

http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54Gv5-DDWRTv23SP2/Http_File_Server-HFS.htm

you might have to forward a port to your pc, and not to your router, try testing.

also for extra security, try it with hamachi

HFS great prog :D ;D

are u using a software firewall also, if so turn off all your firewalls and test, then turn on the firewall(s), and try to track the problem.

try changing your menu options.

go into expert mode

menu>start/exit>find ext. address at startup
menu>ipaddress> your external address
menu>accept incoming connections on> your internal forwarded address

chk those off.

try that

many other options to set.

He means the internal (private) IP. To run servers, the IP needs to be fixed, or all portforwardings become invalid once it changes (for instance with DHCP).

I have the same problem. Adding a rule for HFS185.exe so that alle TCP-connections are allowed for it doesn't work... Is there any other program file for that I have to create a rule?
