hi, everyone
first, i'm sorry for mistakes i can make, my english is not very good
i have a Huawei Echolife HG520b Router with a fixed IP, and win vista
i tested more than one version of HFS, and still have the same problem.
the problem is that i forwarded the port 81 for hfs (i checked this with Pfport checker, which assure me that this port is open), but, when i make self test, it always tells me: test failed: server doesnt answer, you're behind a router, ensure it's configured to forward port 81 to your computer.
i tested the PFconfig, but the problem persist and i don't know what else i can do.
ah! I tried with my two IP: 192.168.1.2 and my external IP too,  but had the same result.
please, can you help me?

i see 2 possibilities

1. the self-test is giving you a false negative. How to solve: do the test with your friend, give him your url (external ip, not internal) and see if he can reach your HFS.

2. there's a software firewall blocking HFS. How to solve: disable temporarily your firewall. If this solves, then re-enable your firewall and configure it to let HFS work normally.

www.speedtest.net

upload speed of your connection is the limit of the speed of transfer to a hosted server at home.

ah! je vois qu'il y a un français ici!   :D

I did the test and it gave me 1.20 for down speed and 0.28 for upload speed
but the problem, thoses results changes at every turn
usually, i upload on servers like mu with 35-40ko/s
but, here, it is very low!
can someone tell why?
and thanks for all
