When logging on to a password-protected resource, your browser prompts you for the username and password. In this dialog, it describes what you are actually accessing. This description is called a realm.
You can customize the HFS realms by using the VFS Menu. Use the item named Customized realm to define the realm for this folder and all subfolders.
If you don't define a realm, but you did specify a comment for the item, the Use comment as realm option makes the comment be used as the realm.
Your browser also prompts for a password when you click the Login link. You can customize the realm to satisfy this request by Menu → Other options → Login realm.
