Questo documento copre aspetti circa la "sicurezza informatica" di HFS.

Molte persone domandano: Posso usare questo server con validi attributi circa la sicurezza?
Il 100% di sicurezza sulla rete è, ovviamente, impossibile da raggiungere, ma HFS è decisamente sicuro.

Per esempio, attualmente nell'ultima versione di HFS non si conoscono bugs circa la sicurezza. HFS è open source, il che comporta il coinvolgimento, di chiunque sia abile in campo informatico, per testare e scoprire eventuali falle del software (e noi abbiamo molti utenti veramente esperti).

Sebbene non sia progettato per essere estremamente robusto, HFS è risultato essere molto stabile e usato per mesi senza che si rendesse necessario un suo riavvio (visualizza questo articolo del forum).

Rendi sicuro il tuo sistema operativo ( Windows)

Before worrying about HFS, you should be concerned about your Windows system. To secure your computer, follow this advice:

  • Keep Windows updated with Windows Update.
  • Use a good and updated firewall.
  • Use a good and updated antivirus.

If you comply with these rules, the risks are very low.

What about strange logs?

If you see scary requests in the log, don't worry. They are simply requests. By default, HFS only logs fulfilled requests, so, if no reply has been logged, the request has not been fulfilled.
